Disturbing Facts About 5G:
While smart meters are being installed by electric, gas and water utilities, 5G is coming from the telecommunications industry; Verizon, AT&T, etc. 5G is associated with “the internet of things” and is supposedly about providing consumers with faster speeds for downloading movies and files.
5G will make use of so called "small cell" cell towers densely placed right outside our homes, schools, near play grounds, and everywhere else, every 300 feet of every road in America. Each of these small cells will radiate 30,000 watts - enough to cook an egg.
5G will also employ 20,000 satellites to blanket everywhere on the planet. Each satellite will be up to 3 million watts.
5G cell phones will be allowed to be up to 10 times stronger than current cell phones.
Hundreds of scientists around the world are calling for an immediate halt to 5G. They warn of 24/7 involuntary, high-dose, cumulative radiation exposure causing damage to DNA, heart, eyes, brain, and immune system, with devastating impacts on infants and children, whose bodies are most vulnerable to radiation, as well as plants, animals, and wildlife.
Plus, there is the additional issue of the obliteration of privacy with 5G and the Internet of Things (TIOT.)

We the undersigned scientists, doctors, environmental organizations and citizens from 168 countries, urgently call for a halt to the deployment of the 5G (fifth generation) wireless network, including 5G from space satellites. 5G will massively increase exposure to radio frequency (RF) radiation on top of the 2G, 3G and 4G networks for telecommunications already in place. RF radiation has been proven harmful for humans and the environment. The deployment of 5G constitutes an experiment on humanity and the environment that is defined as a crime under international law.
...In addition to millions of new 5G base stations on Earth and 20,000 new satellites in space, 200 billion transmitting objects, according to estimates, will be part of the Internet of Things by 2020, and one trillion objects a few years later.
Despite widespread denial, the evidence that radio frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming. The accumulated clinical evidence of sick and injured human beings, experimental evidence of damage to DNA, cells and organ systems in a wide variety of plants and animals, and epidemiological evidence that the major diseases of modern civilization—cancer, heart disease and diabetes—are in large part caused by electromagnetic pollution, forms a literature base of well over 10,000 peer-reviewed studies.
If the telecommunications industry’s plans for 5G come to fruition, no person, no animal, no bird, no insect and no plant on Earth will be able to avoid exposure, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to levels of RF radiation that are tens to hundreds of times greater than what exists today, without any possibility of escape anywhere on the planet. These 5G plans threaten to provoke serious, irreversible effects on humans and permanent damage to all of the Earth’s ecosystems.
Immediate measures must be taken to protect humanity and the environment, in accordance with ethical imperatives and international agreements.
5G will result in a massive increase in inescapable, involuntary exposure to wireless radiation
In order to transmit the enormous amounts of data required for the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G technology, when fully deployed, will use millimetre waves, which are poorly transmitted through solid material. This will require every carrier to install base stations every 100 metres[1] in every urban area in the world. Unlike previous generations of wireless technology, in which a single antenna broadcasts over a wide area, 5G base stations and 5G devices will have multiple antennas arranged in “phased arrays” [2],[3] that work together to emit focused, steerable, laser-like beams that track each other.
Each 5G phone will contain dozens of tiny antennas, all working together to track and aim a narrowly focused beam at the nearest cell tower. The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted rules permitting the effective power of those beams to be as much as 20 watts, ten times more powerful than the levels permitted for current phones.
Each 5G base station will contain hundreds or thousands of antennas aiming multiple laser-like beams simultaneously at all cell phones and user devices in its service area. This technology is called “multiple input multiple output” or MIMO. FCC rules permit the effective radiated power of a 5G base station’s beams to be as much as 30,000 watts per 100 MHz of spectrum,[4] or equivalently 300,000 watts per GHz of spectrum, tens to hundreds of times more powerful than the levels permitted for current base stations.
Space-based 5G
At least five companies[5] are proposing to provide 5G from space from a combined 20,000 satellites in low- and medium-Earth orbit that will blanket the Earth with powerful, focused, steerable beams. Each satellite will emit millimetre waves with an effective radiated power of up to 5 million watts[6] from thousands of antennas arranged in a phased array. Although the energy reaching the ground from satellites will be less than that from ground-based antennas, it will irradiate areas of the Earth not reached by other transmitters and will be additional to ground-based 5G transmissions from billions of IoT objects. Even more importantly, the satellites will be located in the Earth’s magnetosphere, which exerts a significant influence over the electrical properties of the atmosphere...
Harmful effects of radio frequency radiation are already proven
Even before 5G was proposed, dozens of petitions and appeals[7] by international scientists, including the Freiburger Appeal signed by over 3,000 physicians, called for a halt to the expansion of wireless technology and a moratorium on new base stations.[8]
In 2015, 215 scientists from 41 countries communicated their alarm to the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO).[9] They stated that “numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF [electromagnetic fields] affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines”. More than 10,000 peer-reviewed scientific studies demonstrate harm to human health from RF radiation.[10] [11] Effects include:
Negative microbiological effects[48] have also been recorded.
The WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) concluded in 2011 that RF radiation of frequencies 30 kHz - 300 GHz are possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B).[49] However, recent evidence, including the latest studies on cell phone use and brain cancer risks, indicate that RF radiation is proven carcinogenic to humans[50] and should now be classified as a “Group 1 carcinogen” along with tobacco smoke and asbestos.
Most contemporary wireless signals are pulse-modulated. Harm is caused by both the high-frequency carrier wave and the low-frequency pulsations.[51]

In this talk, Arthur Firstenberg offers a stark and important assessment of cell phones and 5G that should be understood so we can be aware of what is unfolding, so we can be proactive in taking care of ourselves and our loved ones. Among the topics discussed in this talk, Arthur offers details on the tragic circumstances underlying this technology. In it, he states:
"Because of cell phones, the worst humanitarian crisis on the planet is occurring. Right now, and for the past 20 years, [as of 2018,] in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There is a rare-earth mineral in your cell phone called Tantalum that is extracted from an ore called Coltan. The vast majority of the world's Coltan is located in eastern Congo. A lot of that Coltan is being mined by hand, by child slaves in the Ituri province of the Congo. Where the rainforest is being cleared, Eastern Lowland Gorilla, which is the world's largest gorilla subspecies, is being driven to extinction. Ethnic cleansing is wiping out all of the villages of that province. The Mbuti pygmies, who used to inhabit the Ituri rainforest, that used to exist, are being slaughtered, all to clear an immense area of land, in order to mine more and more and more and more Coltan for the billions of throw-away devices, that you are holding in your hand, that become obsolete and must be replaced virtually every year. An estimated two million people in Eastern Congo, many of them children, many of them virtual or actual slaves, are mining Coltan by hand under appalling conditions, to be shipped to processing plants in China and East Asia before winding up in your cellphone.
The conflict in Congo is being called a civil war by the media. It is not. It is a war for control over the world's most prized mineral deposits. An estimated 5.4 million people died in the first decade of the war over Coltan. No one knows how many have died in the second decade. The cause of all of this havoc and destruction is the cell phone. If you want instant communication and information at your fingertips at all times, you're going to destroy the earth.
5G is just an intensification of what has been going on for 22 years. The microwave devices that you carry in your hand will be much more powerful. The antennas in the streets and in your children's playgrounds, and in the steeples of your churches, will multiply ten-fold; a hundred-fold. The birds and insects of this world will be replaced by laser-like beams whizzing by at all times. Instead of every second man and every third woman developing cancer, we will all develop cancer. We will all develop diabetes."
I believe the evidence, thus far, suggests that 5G will be very dangerous and impactful to our health and the health of the planet. I feel that it will be essential to wear radiation blocking clothing that covers at least the whole trunk of the body, the neck (essential to protect our thyroid!) and a hat whenever in town or anywhere that 5G has been installed. The more densely populated the town, the more essential this becomes. Ideally, our home would be out in the countryside in a remote area away from 5G antennae. If there is any 5G nearby, it would be best to use radiation blocking paints and curtains. If there is any radiation hitting your bed, then a good bed canopy would really be essential because there is no place more important to be radiation-free than our beds due to the healing and regeneration process that takes place with a good night’s sleep that is free of EMR.
5G is being rolled out quite quickly. There’s no telling how long it might be before it is here (Asheville, NC) so if I were going to move now, I’d be hoping to find a place where 5G is being rejected by a town, city or state. Such “rejection” by legislation is sometimes ignored by the telecommunications industry, so it is important to verify they are being successful in blocking these installs. Second to this option would be to live down a quiet road out of town, ideally somewhere that the houses are spread out and no further housing development is likely.

May 17, 2018Summary: We know that there is a massive literature, providing a high level of scientific certainty, for each of eight pathophysiological effects caused by non-thermal microwave frequency EMF exposures. This is shown in from 12 to 35 reviews on each specific effect, with each review listed in Chapter 1, providing a substantial body of evidence on the existence of each effect. Such EMFs:
1. Attack our nervous systems including our brains leading to widespread neurological/neuropsychiatric effects and possibly many other effects. This nervous system attack is of great concern.
2. Attack our endocrine (that is hormonal) systems. In this context, the main things that make us functionally different from single celled creatures are our nervous system and our endocrine systems – even a simple planaria worm needs both of these. Thus the consequences of the disruption of these two regulatory systems is immense, such that it is a travesty to ignore these findings.
3. Produce oxidative stress and free radical damage, which have central roles in essentially all chronic diseases.
4. Attack the DNA of our cells, producing single strand and double strand breaks in cellular DNA and oxidized bases in our cellular DNA. These in turn produce cancer and also mutations in germ line cells which produce mutations in future generations.
5. Produce elevated levels of apoptosis (programmed cell death), events especially important in causing both neurodegenerative diseases and infertility.
6. Lower male and female fertility, lower sex hormones, lower libido and increased levels of spontaneous abortion and, as already stated, attack the DNA in sperm cells.
7. Produce excessive intracellular calcium [Ca2+]i and excessive calcium signaling.
8. Attack the cells of our bodies to cause cancer. Such attacks are thought to act via 15 different mechanisms during cancer causation.There is also a substantial literature showing that EMFs also cause other effects including life threatening cardiac effects (Chapter 3). In addition substantial evidence suggests EMF causation of very early onset dementias, including Alzheimer's, digital and other types of dementias (Chapter 3); and there is evidence that EMF exposures in utero and shortly after birth can cause ADHD and autism (Chapter 5).
...The different effects produced are obviously very deep concerns. They become much deeper and become existential threats when one considers that several of these effects are both cumulative and eventually irreversible. There is substantial evidence for the cumulative nature and eventual irreversibility of the neurological/neuropsychiatric effects, of the reproductive effects, the mutational DNA effects, the cardiac effects, of some but not other of the hormonal effects (Chapter 3); any causation of ADHD and autism may add additional concerns (here the cumulative nature is probably limited to the perinatal period).
...Now it can be argued that some of these may not develop as I expect, although those expectations are based on the best available evidence. One may even be able to argue this for all of those expectations. However, when we have substantial risk of multiple existential threats to every single technologically advanced country on earth, failure to act vigorously means there is a very high probability of complete destruction of these societies. And the chaos which would inevitably ensue, in a world that still has nuclear weapons, may well lead to extinction. In the face of these types or risk, the only reasonable course is to move with great vigor to stop new exposures and lower current exposures. One can still access the internet, using wired connections. And we can lower cell phone tower and cell phone radiation substantially. Smart meters, if needed, can work via wired connections.
Over 60% of this document (Chapters 5 & 6), is focused on the failures of statements from SCENIHR, the telecommunications industry, the U.S. FCC and the U.S. FDA to reflect the science. Their statements repeatedly omit much, often all of the most important science. Their statements are rife not only with omissions, but also with easily demonstrable falsehoods and with false logic. These have often occurred at times where we know that they knew better. These have occurred along with vigorous efforts by the telecommunications industry to corrupt the science by attacking individual scientists whose only fault is that they have obtained important findings that the industry does not like. These attacks have occurred along with vigorous efforts to corrupt two agencies that have important regulatory roles.
...It follows from this that we already face four existential threats produced by microwave frequency EMF exposures to the survival of every technologically advanced society on earth:
1. Cumulative and irreversible neurological/neuropsychiatric effects.
2. Cumulative and irreversible reproductive effects.
3. Cumulative and irreversible cardiac effects, leading to sudden cardiac death.
4. DNA effects in germ line, including sperm cells, leading to major impacts on our gene pool and high mutation frequencies.Any one of these can destroy us on its own and with the ever increasing exposures and especially the vast increases in exposure that the 5G rollout will inevitably produce, that destruction is likely to be imminent. These don't even take into consideration the cancer effects, the hormonal effects or other effects produced by increased oxidative stress or increased apoptotic cell death. There is extraordinary evidence for each of these effects of EMF exposure, which have been repeatedly documented in the reviews listed in Chapter 1.
...The discussion here raises the question of whether Alzheimer's and other dementias may be still another set of irreversible diseases where cumulative effects of microwave frequency EMFs may have important causal roles. Dementias and other types of neurological deaths have had unexplained rapid recent increases [42-44]. The parallel between these increases and the increases in cell phone and other EMF exposures suggested that such exposures may cause dementia increases [45]. Reports show people circa age 30 developing Alzheimer's or other very early onset dementias and even younger people are reported to develop digital dementias, dementias caused by heavy use of digital devices [46-48].
...Each of these downstream effects have been shown to have important roles in causing Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases [49-51]. These all suggest plausible mechanisms for action for EMFs causing Alzheimer's disease.
... In 2005, Dr. Jared Diamond published a book [111] entitled "Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed." In it he documents how each society that "chose to fail," chose paths that had some short term gains but also had much more severe longer-term consequences. This is exactly what we have been doing with the EMFs, except that the consequences are much more severe than the collapse of one society – here all of the advanced technology societies on earth are at great risk.
DOCTORS AND RESEARCHERS RING ALARM BELLS
There are hundreds of doctors and researchers around the globe that state unambiguously that there is substantial harm caused by transmitting technologies. They are calling for moratoriums and further research before such technologies continue to be rolled out. One video shows a member of the United Nations reading an appeal to the Secretary General of the UN. It might be possible to use some of this content to prove the harm caused in court cases and/or compel electric, gas, and water utility companies to remove digital meters.

CHILDREN IMPACTED WORSE
Infants and children are impacted twice as much as adults by EMR because of their undeveloped immune systems, because they are growing up in the digital age and being given transmitting devices from a much younger age, and because their skulls are softer and undeveloped.
HEALTHY OPTIONS
There are specific supplements and foods that can do a lot to help mitigate the impact of radiating technologies. Even specific fish and wine can make a substantial difference.
EXPOSURE GUIDELINES
Exposure guidelines have not been updated in decades. They were developed based on thermal effects rather than the impact that radiation has been proven to have on DNA, on our mitochondria. These guidelines in no way account for the exponential growth of wireless technologies and the associated increase in electromagnetic radiation.

There are a number of options to deal with the digital meters put on our homes by utility companies. These strategies range from using aluminum foil to block the transmissions, to building a closet or box around meters, to legal proceedings.
